Video of exploited Burmese sex workers in Malaysia

This video was going around Facebook and it is just horrible! It was spread by a lecturer of mine and not many people know about this video just yet.

For those who can’t watch the video, let me sum it up.

It’s basically a video of exploited Burmese (female) sex workers in Malaysia who were being hit around like dolls by their sex agents who are also Burmese. They might be working in Malaysia as the word ‘Ringgit’ (Malaysia’s currency) is mentioned in the video.

It’s heart breaking to watch this video as the women are hit by the men on their faces, heads and bodies without mercy. I work with Burmese refugee youth living in transit in Kuala Lumpur, so I know how hard life is for them to be living in a foreign country with no one to help them but their own fellow Burmese as they are powerless here.

But even so, as a woman and human being, it’s painful to see what these unfortunate women go through. These men are lower than lowest. Such pigs! How can they be so heartless all in the name of money?

This video should be spread around and hopefully, someone will do something about this.

If you know anyone who could investigate on this matter, please inform them and help these women and other women out there who are currently being mistreated and exploited. End their torture and the beginning of tortures for so many other women, men and children who would end up in the hands of horrible people.
