Porn vs. Real World

“Pornography is designed to tap into your sexual fantasies, but not all fantasies should be reenacted in real life.” – Askmen.com (‘Porn Moves You Should Never Use‘)

I love porn with all my heart. In fact, I do think that I’m one of the few girls who actually admits to watching porn and is comfortable talking about it. I know a lot girls who shy away from the topic or worse, never watched porn before.

“Whaaaat..????”

I know right?! They’re missing on life! Haha. Just kidding!

Porn taught me a lot; about sex lingos (i.e., deep throat, spooning…), what turn guys on, different types of fantasies (i.e., mature and young, lesbian, gay, teen, bbw…), being comfortable with my own body and learning about sex itself – what it is and all.

What is more awesome is how easy it is to access porn… Online porn anybody? They are awesome!

A lot of people – and by people I meant girls – ask me what is so good about porn. I’d usually ask them a series of questions before answering their question.

“Have you ever watched porn?”

“Describe the video.”

“Do you know how to masturbate?”

“Do you know what ‘masturbate’ mean?”

“You tried masturbating before and it’s boring? Are you sure you’re doing it right?”

The conclusion of our conversation is pretty much the standard,

“Ah, no wonder you don’t know the wonders of porn, you have no idea what porn is for. It is to arouse you and in order for you to get aroused, you have to know how to masturbate and only then would you learn to appreciate pornography.”

You know how some people get SOOOO proud of the fact that they go clubbing or have pretty hot/rich boyfriends? Yeah, I’m like that when it comes to porn. I get all proud at the fact that I know porn and I know how to appreciate it.

It took me quite a short time to realize though that porn is not real. It’s just like wrestling, the performers are trained professionals and the pain that they endure is for work.

Sure, sex is an awesome thing and the fact that these actors and actresses have the great privilege to be mixing work and pleasure, but you cannot deny the fact that they are doing some pretty nasty shit to their bodies. Have you seen those gigantic vagina? It’s disgusting! Oh, a huge butt hole that is literally turned inside out? OUCH! Saliva as lubricant? Seriously? Biting nipples until it bleeds? You crazy?? And worse, eating piss and shit? WHAT?!

Sureeee… These may turn you on so bad, but really, do you think that you can actually do all of these in real life? Can you eat your girlfriend’s/boyfriend’s piss and shit?

I think I’m going to be sick!

Studies shown that men who are addicted to porn prefer porn than sex.

Porn caters to our erotic sexual fantasies. Note the word ‘FANTASY‘. It’s not real and although you can bring it (the moves, positions, torture..) to the real world, you have to understand that there are consequences to your action; back pains (if you’re doing impossible positions), ass pain (anal sex)…

10 Things In Porn That Don’t Translate In The Real World

Porn Moves You Should Never Use In Real Life

Porn: The New Sex Education

It scares me to know that teenagers who watch porn do not know that some of the moves in porn cannot be used in real life and that they think that big breasts and long penises screams perfection, when in actual fact, it does not matter at all. Well, technically, it matters to SOME people, not all.

Girls get really self conscious about their bodies as well; especially those who consider themselves as being ‘imperfect‘. Some of them do not have courage to handle some of the crazy positions pornstars do but they do not say anything fearing that their boyfriends would leave them.

Not true.

And boys (and girls alike) think they are learning everything about sex through pornography, which may be true but not so accurate.

Here are some Sex vs. Real World facts that you may find interesting.

Porn World: You can just fuck her and she’d have an orgasm.

Real World: Unlike boys, girls are rather complicated. Making a girl orgasm need a lot of pre-fucking rituals such as petting, rubbing, nibbling, sucking, kissing, licking and so much more!

——————————————–

Porn World: Everyone gets turned on by screaming nasty things and making weird animal noises to each other while fucking.

Real World: Not everyone are loud and animalistic and not everyone like being screamed at or dirty talked at while having sex. Some are loud, some are quiet. Some like it rough, some like it gently. Some like the pain, some don’t. Some moan, some cry. It varies!

——————————————–

Porn World: Young, pretty girls like having sex with ugly, old men.

Real World: Ew!

——————————————–

Porn World: Women love being having men ejaculate on their faces and mouth.

Real World: Some women love it, some don’t. Some people enjoy the taste of cum, while others hate it. Always ask what your partner prefers before actually doing something you watch from porn.

——————————————–

Porn World: Every girl love anal penetration.

Real World: Your anus is designed to dispose things from your body, not accept things into your body. It may give pleasure for men when they penetrate into the woman’s anus because it is tight, but in reality, by doing anal penetration repeatedly, you are tearing the woman’s anal muscles which causes her to feel excruciating pain. Only a little number of woman can handle anal penetration while a huge number of others cannot.

——————————————–

Porn World: Gay men love anal sex and they have sex all the time.

Real World: Not all gay men love anal sex as it is painful (I asked quite a number of people about this!). Some of them dread it and prefer giving head instead. And they don’t have sex all the time too; it would be too tiring! With a job/school on the side, they can’t be having sex 24/7, that is crazy talk!

Browsing around Youtube watching Ted videos the other day, I stumbled on a very interesting talk by, surprisingly, one of the Ted’s audience member. Her name is Cindy Gallop and she gave a 4-minute presentation on the topic about how hardcore pornography distorted the way a generation of young men think about sex.

This video made me want to write about this post which I have been thinking about writing since a month ago, when I watched that video. It’s crazy! I think about what to write every day and finally, I got enough inspiration to actually write this post! Writing is so hard! :S

The thing is, I have known that pornography, especially hardcore pornography, have distorted the image of sex and what it is about and how to conduct it within people my age and those who are in high school, but I never knew how to tell people. So I was beyond happy when I got to know that Cindy Gallop actually created a website dedicated to debunking myths of porn and compare it to the real world through her website;

http://makelovenotporn.com

I think it’s fantastic! I love it!

And what is awesome is that, you can actually read other people’s submissions as well and get more information about the differences between porn and the real world, especially if you have never popped your cherry before.

Have a great time going through the website! I did!

To all my friends who have never watch porn or do not see the point of watching porn or the existence of porn, someone needs to do a bit of self exploration! I’ll talk about self exploration in my future post.

But seriously though, if you’re worried about not ‘catching up to everybody’, don’t be! You don’t need to watch porn or to enjoy porn to enjoy what the world has to offer you. You’re perfectly normal! Sometimes, not everybody enjoy porn, so rest assure you’re not alone.

Till then, be safe everybody!
